STUDENT OF KNOWLEDGE PLEDGE

Cordoba Academy has been set up with the goal not only of imparting knowledge but also of giving students practical advice on implementing this knowledge. We strive to ensure that students are confident and proficient in all of the courses they undertake with us. For this reason, after students successfully complete a course, they are given one full year in which they are able to retake the course absolutely free. This is so that they may reinforce the knowledge they have gained and rekindle the zeal to inculcate and impart this knowledge to others.

I am very much looking forward to teaching this course as it is a text that I have studied with many Ulama and have received Ijazah with full Isnad to Imam al-Nawawi (RA) to teach it.  The scholars come from Syria, Yemen, India, Pakistan and Indonesia amongst other countries and have managed to obtain the highest asaneed from them which only a handful of people may have achieved.

Al-hamdulillah...I have already sent out my registration. In another thread on this forum you asked about favorite books...the arba'oon is easily my favorite. I believe that if a Muslim studied, understood, implemented and spread this single text our individual lives, our families and our communities would begin to heal and see great improvement over all.

The first ahadith alone contains so much to enhance our lives inwardly and outwardly (through mindfulness of our actions), our relationship with Allah, as well as dealing with the sickness found in the hearts of so many from the Muslim world who yearn to live in the lands of disbelief or as though they were in the lands of disbelief...and if one wished to discuss the matter more deeply, it could lead into the legal rulings on the mudujin. Just the first Hadith alone is a treasure trove for our lives!

By Allah's permission, I was able to sit with sheikh Salek of Maurintania and he mentioned that just one single Hadith would suffice (if digested well and acted upo) to cure most of the major diseases of the heart, from arrogance and pride to love of leadership and rank, from love of wealth to excessive ange [and I add to that it would go very far in healing our marital relations]...that single Hadith is very famous and found in the forty...

mashaAllah, this is such a beautiful and exciting opportunity. but, subhanAllah, the Fridays will conflict with Jummah salah for those of us in LA. so does that mean we will not be able to complete the full year certification program since we'd have to regularly miss out on classes?

Jazak Allah khairan Brother Halim for your advice.  May Allah give you and all of us the taufeeq to implement these teachings.

Brother Karim, it was inevitable that somewhere we would have a clash with Jumah as students are from all over the world.  For those in your predicament we will make a special dispensation for that class so that you are able to listen to the recording and will have a session at the end of the course to go over your understanding of those ahadith.
